Scope:
Construction of (1) two story structural steel with metal stud framing digital media arts classroom building with restroom and concession facilities 12,625 SF. The new building included a state of the art video and photography studios for the students as well. The media arts building consisted of two story curtain walls, polish concrete flooring, a translucent skylight corridor, and built-in teaching wall cabinets. Exterior finish is integral color plaster with painted exterior and built-up roofing. The curtain walls overlooked the new site improvements which consisted of new landscaping, asphalt and concrete paving, basketball resurfacing and striping, and new flag pole. Site improvements included ADA upgrades to existing parking stall and new site utilities (i.e. storm water relocation, new fire water service upgrade and relocation, and abandonment of existing well and installation of a new irrigation well). The construction project was coordinated and completed during an active campus.
