Scope:
The work consisted, in general, of renovating Fire Stations 1 – 5 which included hazardous material abatement (Fire Stations 2-5), foundation modification, structural upgrades, apparatus bay door replacement, kitchen and restroom improvements, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing improvements, new roof-mounted photovoltaic panel installation (Fire Stations 2-5) and site improvements related to utility upgrades and concrete sidewalk and asphalt pavement and other work required by the drawings and specifications. The project included phasing of work at Fire Station 1 which was occupied by station personnel during construction; Fire Stations 2-5 personnel were relocated to other fire stations.
